Itinerary 

Day 1

We depart Broome and head up Highway One, crossing the mighty Fitzroy River, before morning tea at Willare Bridge roadhouse. We then continue on to see the Prison Boab tree at the start of the Gibb River Road. We continue on to Windjana Gorge before our first night under canvas.

Day 2

We head out early and go and explore Tunnel Creek – a 750 metre cave walk through the ancient Devonian reef system. We then continue along ‘The Gibb’, crossing the King Leopold Range and heading into ‘cattle-country’. We take a walk into the spectacular Bell Gorge where we can ha

ve a refreshing swim before we head to Silent Grove bush campsite for the night. (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3

We depart and after a scenic drive and a stop for a swim at Galvin’s Gorge, we end up at Mt Barnett campsite and walk into Manning Gorge. Take time to explore, view Aboriginal Rock art and swim in the pools near the falls. We camp tonight next to the tranquil pools of the lower Manning. (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)

 

Day 4

Your tour continues east along the Gibb River Road arriving at Home Valley Station on the banks of the Pentecost River.  Following recent refurbishment Home Valley Station is a beautiful 'oasis' in the middle of the harsh outback environment.  Put your head down and sleep soundly after another exceptional day in this beautiful part of the world.  (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 5

Continue the adventures as we make our way down Gibb River Road to famous El Questro Station.  After crossing the Pentecost River and exploring the gorges, a relaxing evening of laughter and shared experiences rounds out another perfect day on your 'Adventure of a lifetime'.  (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)  

Day 6

Today you have an extra special opportunity to take an optional scenic flight over the magnificent Mitchell Falls and Kimberley countryside, or, just enjoy the spectacular natural gorges and walks around El Questro.  (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner) 

Day 7

We start the day at Zebedee Hot Springs where you can soak your traveller body in warm, crystal clear water beneath tropical palms.  Today we explore the unspoilt territory of Emma Gorge for a swim in natural rock pools or an exhilaratingly refreshing swim in the alluring waterfall.  It's our last trip on Gibb River Road before arriving in Kununurra for the evening.  (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)  

Day 8

Today is a day for relaxing or exploring Kununurra and surrounds. Canoeing, fishing, swimming in the pool or perhaps an optional scenic flight or an Ord River Cruise.  The day is yours to enjoy. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9

It’s ‘back on the road’ as we head towards the Bungle Bungles. Along the way we may cross the river at Ivanhoe Crossing or stop at the Warmun Art Centre to view art by the local indigenous artists. The track into Purnululu National Park is Four Wheel Drive only – a slow but scenic trip as we approach the wonder of the Bungle Bungles. We set up camp and then have drinks as the sun sets over The Bungle Bungles – another day you’ll never forget! (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)  

Day 10

The Domes Walk, Picinniny Creek, Cathedral Gorge and Echidna Chasm on our list today – we are in the midst of The Bungle Bungles and there is plenty to see and do. You might also take an optional helicopter flight and experience the magic from the air. (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)  

Day 11

This part of the East Kimberley is very scenic and opportunities to take photos present themselves at many places. We continue on to China Wall at Halls Creek on our way to Fitzroy Crossing and set up camp for the night. (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, Dinner)  

Day 12

We start the day with a river cruise to explore the Geike Gorge just out of Fitzroy Crossing. The last leg of our journey takes us to beautiful tropical Broome where we sadly farewell our travelling friends. Along the way we see the Fitzroy River, huge Boab trees and keep our eyes open for the local wildlife. We end our journey on the shores of the Indian Ocean and then get dropped off at your accommodation. (Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch)
