This is a great trip if you want a Kimberley adventure tour but you don't have the time or budget to join our full 12 day tour.
On the Gibb River Road Explorer, you join our tour in Broome and travel with us for seven days to Kununurra.
The moment you join our small tour group you can start to relax. We'll take you to see some of places that make the Kimberley and the Gibb River Road so special. You'll see stunning gorges, waterfalls, cattle stations, Aboriginal rock art and pristine wilderness. Your camping experience will be comfortable and easy.
You will experience outback camping, and on this tour for 5 out of 6 nights our tents are awaiting your arrival at our permanent campsites.

The Journey
We set off from the colourful pearling town of Broome. On the way to the mighty Fitzroy River we take in fascinating landmarks like the Willare Roadhouse, the Prison Boab Tree, Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek.
We set off from the historic pearling town of Broome. On the way to the mighty Fitzroy River we take in fascinating landmarks like the Wilare Roadhouse, the Prison Boab Tree, Windjana Gorge and the beautiful Tunnel Creek. We settle for a night under the magic Kimberley stars in Windjana Gorge.
Next day we're off to explore the famous Gibb River Road, King Leopold Range and the stunning Bell Gorge. For the next two nights we camp beside the Lower Manning River.
This gives us time to explore Manning Gorge. You'll see waterfalls and have time for a refreshing swim if you'd enjoy that. We will visit some impressive Aboriginal rock art. Kimberley rock art is ancient and famous all around the worl. You can stand up close to it.
Our tour then takes us back along the Gibb River Road to Durack River. We chat with some local Indigenous people and see more that remarkable rock art. You'll see the Cockburn Ranges and the Pentecost River. At the end of the day they'll make us welcome at the cattle station campsite in Home Valley Station.
The stunning Emma Gorge is up next on our list of adventures. You might be tempted to have another swim. We visit the impressive El Questro and set up camp for two nights. You might join us to enjoy live music in their outdoor bar. If you're in the mood for adventure you can take up the option of a cruise on the Chamberlain Gorge or go horse riding. There is also the option of a scenic flight to the magnificent Mitchell Falls. For people who like to keep their feel on the ground there are some wonderful walks in El Questro Gorge.
Soon we are off to are off to soak in the Zebedee Hot Springs. We explore the lush tropical town of Kununurra and check out some galleries. We spend our final night Kununurra before you leave us for the next leg of your Kimberley adventure.
